About the problem and how it is solved

When it comes to Hackathons, there is always a million things to do. It is a great challenge to create an event, where everyone is feeling their greatest, and in their most creative mood.

Start Hack makes it easy for all parties, including the organisers by allowing them to do every step within application, and also allowing its participants to apply easily to these competitions.

About the customer

Start Globals's primary aim is to provide a platform for emerging entrepreneurs and influential investors to collaborate and yield extraordinary results, empowering the forthcoming entrepreneur generation to convert their concepts to reality.

Their main two events they organise is Start Summit, and Start Hack for Hackathons, on which we worked together with them.

UX/UI Design

The Design Process

In terms of design creation, Start Global was already equipped with a wireframe design created by the customer, and a pre-existing corporate identity, that served as our starting point.

After examining these, we began the creation of the User Interface for the different user flows, including the Owner, Partner, Hacker, and Super Admin views. For the final UI Design, we opted for a dark theme, complemented by vivid green hues.

About Software

Utilizing the dynamic Flutter framework, our project seamlessly interacts with a PostgreSQL database via Hasura, prioritizing reliability and adaptability. Backed by the scalable infrastructure of Google Cloud Platform, our solution promises optimal performance and security, ensuring a smooth user experience and nurturing a culture of entrepreneurial innovation within the Hackathon community.
